American actress Megan Fox announced on Wednesday that she and her husband Brian Austin Green welcomed their first child in September.
The 26-year-old actress revealed on Facebook that she gave birth to her son, Noah Shannon Green, on Sept 27th.
Fox wrote on her Facebook page: "We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do. I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect.
"We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love.
"Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes. May God bless you and your families abundantly."
The "Transformers" star confirmed the report that she was pregnant in June when she showed a baby bump while holidaying in Hawaii with her husband.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, Fox admitted that she has "always been maternal" and looks forward to growing her family with husband. She also told the magazine that she wants two or three kids with Green whom she married in June 2010.
Apart from Noah, Green has a 10-year-old son, Kassius, from his previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil. Fox has been looking after Kassius since he was three years old.
"I've been looking after Kassius since he was three - it's part of my world that very few people really ever understood about me. I love being a stepmom and the experience grounds me when nothing makes sense in my life," she said.
