"Comedy Nights With Kapil" star Kapil Sharma recently hit headlines when an image of him in a wedding attire went viral on the internet. As the comedian had been missing from the screen for a while, it was speculated that Kapil might have got married.
However, the suspense was cracked recently when the first poster of his upcoming movie "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu" was revealed and the much talked about groom look turned out to be from the same film. Nevertheless, Kapil Sharma is indeed getting married on-screen and Marathi actress Sai Lokur happens to be one his wives in "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu".
Directed by Abbas-Mustan, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu" marks the Bollywood debut of Kapil Sharma as well as Sai Lokur and the actress is evidently very excited about the project she has bagged.
"I met Abbas-Mustan through a common friend and was lucky to have met them at the right time as they were casting for this film. They liked me and offered me the role," The Times of India quoted the Marathi actress as saying.
Sai Lokur also gushed about her experience of working with Kapil Sharma. "Kapil is as good a comic off-screen as he is on-screen. Moreover, he is so spontaneous that I used to be clueless about my lines during the initial days of the shooting. With every take, he would implement something new. I got used to it later and overall, it was a great experience working with the entire team," she noted.
Sai Lokur has done a number of Marathi films including "No Entry" and "Platform" among others, and is now fully focused on her Bollywood debut. "Everything depends on my debut. I am concentrating on that right now," she added.
Comedy-drama "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu" will show Kapil Sharma romancing three other actresses Elli Avram, Manjari Phadnis and Simran Kaur. The film also features Arbaaz Khan and Varun Sharma and is slated to release on 25 September.
