New Delhi/Hisar, Nov 19 (ANI): Media persons condemned the assault on them on Wednesday after some media persons were attacked by police during clashes with the Rampal's supporters on Tuesday. The incident occurred after followers of Rampal opened fire at police personnel standing on guard outside the hermitage, thus forcing police to resort to baton charge and firing, leaving many injured and two police personnel getting shot. Journalist Prashant Gupta said that the attack on media persons have scared the camerapersons and reporters. Another journalist, Ashok Singhal, said security has been tightened in the area and the police are preventing media from entering the area.
