While fans of Jang Ki Ha and IU are ecstatic about the addition of a new couple to the Kpop industry, it seems TV shows are not far behind. Their relationship, which was made public recently, is still very new and as is usual, a new relationship garners attention and curious questions from people in the media.
MC Yoo Hee Yeol's show titled, "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook," which aired on 16 October, delved into the Jang Ki Ha's relationship with IU. Yoo Hee Yeol introduced his guest, Jang Ki Ha. It was then that Jang Ki Ha mentioned his song, "Lets Meet Now" but the MC had a devious smile on his face.
Yoo Hee Yeol said, "People are saying let's meet on Friday," alluding to IU's song. Nevertheless, Yoo Hee Yeol didn't let his guest feel awkward. He saved the situation by saying, "I say this again, but 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' airs on Fridays so let's meet on Fridays," reported Soompi.
IU and "Kiha and The Faces" band member Jang Ki Ha made an official announcement about their relationship on 10 October. Jang Ki Ha's agency, Leon Entertainment stated, "The two people are currently dating after developing feelings for each other while exchanging dicussions about music as colleagues beginning two years ago."
Fans of the two speculated long ago that IU and the "Running Man" singer were dating each other. This theory became popular when IU appeared on her best friend Yoo In Na's KBS radio show, "Yoo In Na's Volume Up", in January 2014. IU was requested to sing "Living the carefree life," a popular song from kpop band, "Kiha and the Faces", reported Soompi.
