Nayantara's "Maya", which is written and directed by Ashwin Saravanan, has garnered highly positive reviews from the audience.

"Maya" is a supernatural-horror film, which has Aari, Amzath Khan, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Robo Shankar, Sharath and others in the cast. The film has Ron Ethan Yohaan's music, Sathyan Sooryan's cinematography and TS Suresh's editing. 

Horror movies have become the most liked subject among Kollywood audience in the last couple of years. Many films without even A-list actors have gone on to become hits. Hence, people have kept high expectations from this flick.

Review:
Arjun (Aari) works for a weekly magazine as a cartoonist. 24 years ago, mental patients including a girl named Maya were mysteriously found dead deep inside a forest and it draw their attention. Now, they set out to discover whether the story that the came across was a fiction or there was some truth in it. On the other end, we are introduced to Apsara (Nayantara). How the lead characters are interlinked forms the crux of the story.

Audience have declared "Maya" as the best horror movie in the recent years. The movie has a lot of spine-chilling moments and keeps audience hooked to their seats to the credits roll at the end. Nayantara has proved again why the industry considers one of the best actresses in South. The technical team has played a major role in the film's success.
