Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is the latest celebrity to have prayed for the safety of the people affected by floods in Chennai.
On his Twitter account, he posted, "May God look after all our brothers and sisters in Chennai. Nature's fury is strong may we all have the strength to fight it. Insha Allah." Chennai has been adversely affected by heavy rain in the past few weeks. The city has been hit by flood, displacing thousands of people and killing over 270 residents. It has also caused an estimated damaged of around Rs 20,000 crore to the state.
