Laden with sexual innuendos and some very over-the-top scenes, the "Mastizaade" trailer has garnered over 5 million hits in three days of its release.
While everyone's going gaga over Sunny Leone's bold avatar in the film, there'll be nothing bolder than what has been shown in the trailer. Talking about the actress' role in the film, director Milap Zaveri told The Asian Age that she will have no kissing or love-making scenes.
"When she heard the script, she had no reservations. In fact, I have exploited the boys more than Sunny Leone. In the trailer, the scene where Sunny's top tears was actually her idea. Also, the producer of the film is a woman (Rangita Nandy) so she wouldn't have allowed anything beyond a limit," the leading daily quoted him as saying.
The filmmaker also elaborated on Sunny's role in the film, which, he claims, is pretty close what the leading lady is in real life. Milap also said how everyone will get a glimpse of her funny side in this one. The adult star-turned-actress has a double role in this one - Lily and Laila Lele.
In other news, Milap also talked at length about how they put only those scenes in the trailer that wouldn't be edited out later, as they did not wish to promise the audience something they would fail to deliver.
"We also had to (bring out) that Sunny Leone is playing a double role in the film. We had lines in mind like 'coming soon', or 'arriving soon' but the tag line Sikka Hilega worked the best for us," he added.
Scheduled for a 29 January release, the film also features Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor in the lead.
