For the 8-13 year olds taking part in "MasterChef Junior," this must be the toughest thing they've ever had to do in their lives. However, we must say that the junior home cooks have established their resilience and have managed to put out some pretty stunning dishes for judges Christina Tosi, Graham Elliot and Gordon Ramsay.
No doubt the three will expect the same standard when the six remaining contestants serve a two course meal for VIPs at Chef Gordon Ramsay's home. This team challenge will determine who has a confirmed spot in the semi-finals.
In the latest episode of "MasterChef Junior," the six home cooks are divided into Blue Team and Red Team. The Blue Team consists of Addison, Kya and JJ. Meanwhile the Red Team includes Zac, Amaya and Avery. Both teams have to serve a red snapper as an appetiser and a roasted venison loin as the entrée.
Since the Blue Team has contestants who have so far impressed the judges, we predict that they might go on to win the team challenge in season 4 episode 10.
The "MasterChef" Junior Wikipedia Page states that the losing team will have to make a perfect soufflé and it appears that two contestants will be sent home at the end of this elimination challenge.
Amaya could very well find herself going home in the upcoming episode. The pressure of the competition has been getting to her and we doubt she will survive until the end.
The synopsis for season 4 episode 10 reads:
A challenge at Gordon's home involves two teams preparing a two-course menu for a VIP lunch that includes a seared red snapper appetiser and a roasted venison loin entrée.
