"Mass Effect Andromeda," the upcoming action-role playing video game from developer BioWare, is rumoured to have revealed its plot via a leaked marketing survey. This gives us an indication of what to expect from the popular franchise's newest offering.
A NewGAF user, anexanhume, posted a screenshot image of the survey that could fire debates among fans since it deals with colonialism.
The image contains a brief synopsis of the game, which contains small bits of information on the game's plot.
"Mass Effect Andromeda takes players to the Andromeda galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way, where players will lead the fight for a new home in hostile territory – where WE are the aliens – opposed by a deadly indigenous race bent on stopping us," it reads.
It further continues that the players will be able to experience the freedom to travelling and exploring the new "planet-dense, seamless open-world" galaxy. The players will able to play as leader of the explorer squad. The game will have "deep progression" and "customisation options."
The synopsis further adds that the choices made by the players will "determine the survival" in the Andromeda galaxy.
After the synopsis, the survey contains several questions that asks the opinion of the targeted audience.
Though such surveys contain references to actual information, it must be taken with a pinch of salt, since BioWare has not come out with any official information on the game's story, VG247 reported.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be released in early 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
