Recent pictures revealed by BioWare have been of great comfort to Mass Effect 4 fans after having been used to the rumours. However, there is no clarity on the name, with the company previously calling it the next Mass Effect. The last video game from the franchise Mass Effect 3 was released in March 2012.
Ken Thain, cinematic director of BioWare has offered us some insight into the development of this action RPG game. His tweet shows us the motion capture that is being conducted at TheCaptureLab in Vancouver, Canada for the upcoming video game. The scene being filmed could be for a cutscene.

The image shows a man and a woman, the latter in T-Pose and behind is the huge green screen.
So we can deduce that the story is ready since the actors are seen being recorded for the game. After the recordings, the data is sent to the animators who will get to work with the animation.
Previously, BioWare had released some of the concept art on N7 Day. It also discussed in a Twitch live stream about the new theme – Exploration, which will be part of Mass Effect 4. It also spoke about Mako, the fan-favorite planetary vehicle, which could be part of the game and might allow players to pilot the craft on the planet surface. One developer also revealed about having "hundreds of hours" of exploration. It also said that the hub areas from previous Mass Effect games would be tied in to larger areas.
The developer also revealed that players will be able to scan objects in the environment, which will be part of the gameplay, reported iDigitalTimes. These things point at a much larger open environment for the game when compared with previous games in the series.
The company had previously revealed that Mass Effect 4 will be written by Chris Schlerf, the writer who wrote Halo 4.
"Every day is a revelation and every day I get to play in a new corner of the universe. To be able to look three steps ahead to, 'Where does this take us and how does it add to the way we look at the Mass Effect trilogy?' You couldn't ask for a better playground," Schlerf had previously said.
It has also said that the game will have an online component too. "Things are getting real now and I need an excellent producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect," said Wynn on a Twitter post.
