Priyanka Chopra, who created fan frenzy with the first poster of her much awaited biopic, "Mary Kom", has treated her fans once again by unveiling a teaser on 18 July, the day of her 32nd birthday.
Now, fans are eagerly waiting for the promo video of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom18 Motion Pictures production, "Mary Kom", which will be released on You Tube on Thursday 24 July, according to Indian Express.
"Mary Kom" directed by debutant director Omung Kumar is based on the life and success of five-time world champion and Olympic medal-winning boxer, Mary Kom.
In the poster, Chopra was seen posing with a fierce look and flaunting a sculpted body with muscles. Also, in the 53-second teaser, she was seen delivering some powerful punches as she steps into the ring.
The first poster and the teaser trailer, both of which saw the actress hooking some cut muscle, making her look every bit like the real-world boxing champion, has got a lot of attention on social media.
In order to get the perfect North-Eastern look in the film, the "Gunday" actress has worn prosthetic eyelids. But her look created a huge buzz among her fans on whether the former Miss World should have chosen to play the role of a North-Eastern woman over other actresses from that region as they have certain physical traits particular to that region, which was apparently missing from Chopra's look.
The national award-winning actress took to micro-blogging site, Twitter and posted the official teaser.
"Hard work can't be subtracted from success, but just added! Watch #MaryKom 's hard work to be successful!"
