The countdown has begun for the premiere of "Marvel's Jessica Jones" with all the episodes made available on Netflix on 20 November. Marvel has released first five images from the series and they surely look interesting.
The images offer the first official look at Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, and Carrie-Anne Moss as Harper. Marvel has stated that more images will be released soon.
The series starts with the title character as she settles into her new career of a New York City-based detective. Naturally, she gets into some trouble as she lives in a world of everyday superheroes and villains alike, a number of which are featured in the stills.
The official synopsis of the series reads:
"After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City."
"Marvel's Jessica Jones" is produced by series show-runner Melissa Rosenberg ("Twilight", "Dexter") and Liz Friedman ("Elementary"), along with Jeph Loeb ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Smallville," and "Heroes"), who is also Marvel's head of Television.
