According to the synopsis of the episode, after her dramatic rescue from another planet, Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) is still reeling from her ordeal and reveals how she had to fight for her life in a harsh new world.
Even though Simmons is now safely back with the team after she disappeared abruptly in Season 2 finale, it is still unclear that where exactly she went and how she survived at the planet.
The promo of the episode mentions that Simmons venture on the strange planet will be revealed in it after she was sent to another dimension by a Kree stone in Season 2 finale. The episode will also reveal how she made her way back to the SHIELD headquarters.
In the promo, Simmons is seen to be on a mysterious blue planet that had hardly any vegetation or signs of flora and fauna. There are glimpses of dangerous creatures lurking in the darkness and gigantic dust storms that are making it difficult to move for Simmons.
At the end of the promo, Simmons is seen to sobbing as she says, "This is hell."
Earlier, we had reported that in the previous episode titled "Devils You Know," Coulson and team shared information with Rosalind and searched for an Inhuman that killed other Inhumans. Also, May thought that Hunter's mission to take down Ward was becoming too personal.
Just when the story seemed to be getting some definite conclusion, Simmons' return has deepened the mystery more. Whether the blue planet has affected her in any way or not, will be revealed only in the upcoming episode.
