Marvel has released the teaser trailer of its upcoming superhero movie "Ant-Man" starring Paul Rudd.
Before it could drop a "human-sized" trailer, Marvel cheekily released a tiny "ant-sized" footage of the teaser on January 2nd, which had fans squinting to spot who or what was being shown in the video. But on January 3rd, Marvel finally unveiled the teaser fit for the human eye.
The trailer features Paul Rudd as "Ant-Man," who seems a bit battered and is seen walking with two police officers.
The 17-second footage also shows Evangeline Lilly, who plays Hope Van Dyne in the movie, walking in a lab holding something. She also appears in a later shot where she is seen training in martial arts.
The final shot of the teaser gives us a glimpse of Ant-Man's legs as he runs through the house.
The full trailer of "Ant-Man" is slated to air on ABC on Tuesday at 8.00 pm ET during the two-hour series premiere of Marvel's "Agent Carter." The movie is poised to hit theaters July 17, 2014.
The storyline of "Ant-Man" movie revolves around the thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who is on a mission to protect the technology created by his mentor Dr. Hank Pym (the original Ant Man), which allows a person to shrink in size but maximizes the strength.
"Ant-Man" is directed by Peyton Reed and Michael Douglas will be playing Dr.Hank Pym in the movie.
