A fresh batch of spy shots of Maruti's upcoming premium hatchback YRA has emerged online, this time revealing the interior of the model.
The spy shots, snapped by Team BHP, indicate that Maruti is not being coy by hiding the prototype under thick camouflage, thus giving the auto lovers in the country a clear picture of what to expect on the arrival of the new player in the premium hatchback segment. The new YRA is expected to be in the showroom during the festive season of this year and will compete against the likes of soon-to-be-launched Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20.
Under the hood, Maruti YRA is expected to come with 1.0 litre three cylinder turbocharged engine and a 1.3 DDis diesel engine.
In the images, the car that is believed to be an export version (left-hand drive) shows the cabin with black and silver accents and the steering wheel of the YRA is seen with buttons for audio and cruise control. The centre console of the model shows the vertical AC vents and from the picture, one can also notice touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, airbag deactivation button, heated front seats and central armrest in the front.
As for styling, at the front, YRA hatchback of Maruti gets swept-back headlamps with chrome grille and fog lights. The side profile of YRA includes wing-mirror mounted turn indicators, multi-spoke alloy wheels and chrome door handles. At the back, from the images, YRA shows rear spoiler and rear wiper.
