Maruti Suzuki's new compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza, is inching closer to launch, which is touted next month. Ahead of the launch, the company has organised training sessions for the sales teams and pictures of the top-spec variant, which has been displayed for the same, has been leaked online.
The pictures from TeamBHP of the top-end ZDi+ trim indicates the compact SUV will be loaded with features. Being the top-spec model, the ZDi+ flaunts projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, skid plates at front and rear bumpers, ORVM's with integrated turn indicators, roof-mounted spoiler and rear wash wiper.
In the interior section, the top-spec trim will house features like a Smartplay infotainment system, inbuilt navigation, reverse parking camera, keyless entry, cruise control, cooled glovebox and a front seat belt height adjuster.
The compact SUV confirmed with 200 DDis diesel engine will churn out 88.5bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1,750rpm mated to five-speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine model will not be available at the time of launch and project head of Vitara Brezza, CV Raman, earlier said that a petrol engine model and AMT may join the range later.
The compact SUV was one of the showstoppers at the Auto Expo 2016 held earlier this month. The overwhelming response led many dealers to open booking unofficially for a down payment of Rs 10,000 to 21,000. The latest reports also say the vehicle will be launched on March 23.
