Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza deliveries to begin March 25

Maruti Suzuki will start the delivery of the Vitara Brezza from Friday, March 25, onwards in India. The Vitara Brezza, the compact SUV that was launched March 8 in the country with a price tag starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), is the first model by the company to be conceptualised, designed, developed and validated in India.

The Vitara Brezza will be sold through the regular dealers of Maruti and the model has been witnessing tremendous response since its entry into the market. Maruti's compact SUV has garnered over 20,000 bookings within the first fortnight of the launch and has received around 70,000 customer enquiries.

Offered in LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ dual tone trims with six colour options, the Vitara Brezza is powered by a 200 DDis 1248cc diesel engine that develops 88.5bhp at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1,750rpm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The Vitara Brezza promises to deliver a mileage of 24.3 kmpl.

It houses features like electrically-foldable ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, a reverse parking camera, Smartplay infotainment system, cooled glove box, cruise control, projector headlamps and in-built navigation.

The Vitara Brezza is expected to have minimal waiting period in the country.
