Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker, is leaving no stone unturned in its attempt to cash in on the festive season. The latest buzz on the web is that the company is now readying a special edition of its popular hatchback Swift, dubbed as Swift SP, which could arrive in the market anytime soon.
The folks at GaadiWaadi have managed to get their hands on the brochure page of Swift SP. The new model will be available on the Lxi/Ldi variants of Swift. As for the styling and design, Maruti Swift SP seems to have maintained the same body kit of the current model, except for the blackened out pillars, colour ORVMS and sporty wheel covers.
According to the picture, inside the cabin, Swift SP will accommodate Stereo with Bluetooth and USB, 4 power windows, 60:40 split rear seats, integrated music system, new seat covers, new steering cover, limited edition memory foam cushion, fog lamps, 4-speakers and Reverse parking sensors. The feature list also includes central locking, Keyless entry and Side body moulding.
Under the bonnet, Swift SP will pack the same tried and tested 1.3 litre multi-jet engine and 1.2 litre K-Series petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Swift SP will offer fuel efficiency of 25.2kmpl for diesel and 20.4 kmpl for petrol.
