The dealers of Maruti have started receiving the company's special edition Swift SP, which is expected to go on a sale in a few days from now.
The folks at GaadiWaadi who have also shared Swift SP's pictures, which have reportedly been taken at a dealership in Delhi, reveal that the new edition of Maruti's popular hatchback Swift has been priced at Rs. 5.15 Lakh. Although it is still not clear as to how many of the new Swift SP will be available for purchase, the report suggests that the deliveries of the models are likely to begin soon.
The diesel variant of Swift SP can be spotted in the images. The new edition looks the same as the current Swift in the market in terms of its styling. The changes are mostly cosmetic in nature such as blackened B-Pillar, Swift SP badge on the driver side door, boot lid and side moulding.
Inside the cabin, the Swift SP is expected to include Stereo with Bluetooth and USB, four power windows, 60:40 split rear seats, integrated music system, new seat covers, new steering cover, limited edition memory foam cushion, 4-speakers and Reverse parking sensors. The list of features also includes central locking, Keyless entry and fog lamps.
The engine line-up of Swift SP includes the same tried and tested 1.3 litre multi-jet engine and 1.2 litre K-Series petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Swift SP will offer a fuel efficiency of 25.2kmpl for diesel and 20.4 kmpl for petrol.
As for pricing, while the petrol variant of Swift SP is reportedly priced at Rs 5.15 Lakh, the diesel model gets a price tag of Rs. 6.20 Lakh.
