The Indian auto-lovers got a glimpse of Maruti Suzuki's soon-to-be-launched Swift Glory edition just a few days ago. Now, the Facebook page of Maruti Suzuki Swift has started the countdown for the 'biggest surprise', which will be unravelled on 6 October (Tuesday). Reading between the lines, we assume that the surprise will be the new Swift Glory edition.
Maruti Swift Glory, the limited edition of the company's popular Swift, is expected to be offered in VXi and VDi variants. Mechanically, the new edition Swift Glory is likely to remain the same as the current models in the market with 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-liter DDiS diesel mills.
The new vehicle, with a host of new features, will get dual-tone red-and-black seat upholstery, Bluetooth-enabled music system, new floor mats, reverse parking assist with a rear-view camera, steering wheel and gear cover. Other features include sports themed body graphics, red roof and wing mirrors, side decals, side skirting, a rear spoiler and racing stripes.
The limited edition of Swift is expected to be priced at a premium of Rs 15,000 to the current variant.
