Maruti Suzuki has pulled the wraps off its is much awaited Swift Dzire facelift in India with a price tag of 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Latest reports suggest Maruti Suzuki's upcoming facelifted avatar of Swift Dzire sedan will be the country's most fuel-efficient car with ARAI certified mileage of 26.59 kmpl, which is greater than its Ciaz.

The folks at Indianhoods have managed to get their hands on the official brochures of the new 2015 Swift Dzire facelift model. Going by the brochure, which states the mileage figure, the Swift Dzire facelift will continue to draw power from the same tried and tested engines, but with improved fuel efficiency.

The petrol version of Swift Dzire facelift will get power from the 1.2L engine, which is tuned to churn out 84.3 PS at 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm with a mileage of 20.85 kmpl, and the diesel model will pack 1.3l DDiS engine that can generate 75 PS at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm at 2,000 rpm. While the power and torque of diesel Swift Dzire remains untouched, the petrol model's power decreased to 84.3PS from 87PS and the torque increased to 115Nm from the current 114Nm.The diesel version of Swift Dzire is tuned to give a return of 26.59 kmpl.

Beside the changes made to the engines of the new Swift Dzire facelift, Maruti engineers have also worked on the styling and design of the model. From what we have seen so far, 2015 Dzire sedan will see changes in front fascia with new chrome grille and smoked head lamps. There are new alloy wheels and patterns of the menu.

The car is likely to include electrically-adjustable and folding mirrors, engine start-stop button, parking sensor button, Bluetooth-enabled music system and rear power socket in its feature list.

The 2015 Swift Dzire facelift is open for booking in the country and the previous reports have also indicated the pricing details of the model. Maruti Swift Dzire facelift will get a price tag in the range of ₹5.07-₹7.81 lakh.
