Here is good news for the Swift Dzire lovers in India. If the recent reports on the web are to be believed, Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker has started shipping its soon-to-be-launched Swift Dzire facelift to its dealerships in the country.
Swift Dzire facelift, a much-desired model from the country's most trusted car brand is expected to make its official entry into the market anytime from now. Although the company has managed to remain tight-lipped about the launch date of the new avatar of Swift Dzire, the rumours swirling on the web indicated a launch towards the end of February.
Now consolidating this belief further, a fresh batch of Swift Dzire facelift images has emerged online, which is believed to be taken at a dealership of the company. Snapped by the folks at GaadiWaadi, in the new images, the facelifted Dzire is seen in its undisguised avatar. The bookings for the new Dzire sedan is expected to open soon.
Auto enthusiasts in the country have already seen numerous spy shots of the new Dzire facelift and have a clear idea on what to expect on the arrival of the new model. As far as the styling and design of the facelifted avatar of Dzire is concerned, the model will stick to the true heritage of the Dzire and will see updates in the rear and front profiles. The engine line-up of the Swift Dzire is likely to include the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre multijet diesel mills may be with better fuel efficiency.
The expected features include electrically adjustable wing mirrors, new upholstery, push start/stop button and six-speaker sound system with Bluetooth and iPod compatibility music system. When launched, Dzire facelift will rival Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Zest in India and going by the rumours the model is likely to get a price tag in the range of ₹5 lakh to ₹8 lakh.
