Maruti Suzuki has inaugurated its 100th Nexa premium dealership in Thane, within six months of India's largest car-maker launching its first Nexa dealership to sell the S-Cross crossover in July 2015.
The Nexa dealerships are designed for customers looking for premium cars. The premium showrooms have a black-and-white monochrome colour scheme so the entire spotlight is on the products displayed.
"We are delighted to start the 100th Nexa showroom ahead of our plan. Through Nexa, we want to meet the diverse expectations of our customers. Customer feedback and surveys show us that there is a growing segment of car buying Indians who value personal care, warmth and attention in their car buying and ownership experience. Nexa is designed for this segment of customers. It brings together people, technology, showroom ambience and processes to deliver the desired experience to this segment of customers," said R S Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India.
Apart from the S-Cross, the company currently sells the Baleno through Nexa dealerships. The product offering is set expand with the arrival of the new Ciaz sedan and the Ignis compact crossover, slated to debut at Auto Expo 2016
Maruti Suzuki plans to expand the number of Nexa outlets to 250 by next year, said in a statement. It is targeting to sell 20 lakh vehicles per annum by 2020, and Nexa will have a major role in achieving this. Till now Maruti Suzuki has sold over 45,000 units via the Nexa dealerships.
