Ignis, the premium crossover from the house of Maruti Suzuki, is all set to go on sale in India from January 13. The preparations are well underway ahead of the launch of the new Ignis, which will be sold through Nexa premium dealerships of the company in India.
Ignis, the third model to join the Nexa line-up in India, will be manufactured at the company's plant in Gurgaon, where Vitara Brezza compact SUV is also being made. Maruti Suzuki's third plant in Gujarat is expected to commence its operations in early 2017.

While the petrol engine is expected to churn out power output of 84bhp and 115Nmthe diesel mill is expected with 74bhp of power and 190Nm peak torque. Both the engines will be mated to the choice of manual and automatic transmission options.
