With the diesel version of Celerio from the house of Maruti Suzuki set to be revealed any time from now, a new set of spy shots of the model has emerged online, giving us the best looks of the car in its completely revealed avatar.
Caught on camera by Gaadi Waadi, the new spy shots show us a fleet of the new Celerio diesel vehicles parked at the stockyard of the company's Manesar facility. From the images, the model looks ready-to-be-shipped to the dealers of the company. Going by the word around the internet, Maruti Celerio diesel is likely to make its market debut in the last week of April.
Under the hood, Celerio diesel will pack the all-new 2 pot 800cc diesel motor, which is expected to churn out 35-40bhp and peak toque of 120-130Nm and the diesel Celerio is expected to give a mileage of 30.1 kmpl. If this is true, Celerio diesel will become the most fuel efficient car in the country.
As for features and styling, there is nothing new to the diesel Celerio, which will be just the same as the existing variant apart from the diesel mill underneath the skin. When launched, Celerio diesel will be taking on the likes of Chevrolet Beat and the Ford Figo in India.
