Its festive season in India and auto makers in the country are all gearing up with special offers for their customers. Aiming to boost sales in India, Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker has also announced special offers for its customers.
Recently during Ganesha festival, Maruti announced special package for Maharashtra region and now the company is all geared to offer special packages for the upcoming Durga pooja. The company also had special offers for the customers in Kerala during Onam, which included accessories like Onam Edition Seat covers with Steering Cover, Onam Special 3D Tail Gate Decal, Onam Edition Tissue Box, Onam Edition Perfume and IRVM Hanging.
The company has also come up with an 'MGA Women Accessories Range' that includes Digital Tire Inflater, Feminine Designed Body Graphics, Child Seat, Shoe Box, Reverse Parking assist, Multi-Purpose Safety Tool , In Car Chiller and pack of nine Interior kits like (Seat Cover, Cushion Pillows, Steering Wheel Cover and Multi-purpose Bag).
"Customers now have an innate need for exclusivity which we are catering to by dipping into our large bouquet of accessories customized to our festival calendar. Apart from Onam, Ganesh Mahotsav, Durga Puja, Navratra and Diwali, we will offer similar accessory kits for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Baisakhi, Women's Day, Environment Day etc. The strategy is to create excitement and engage with the customer using accessories to customize the vehicles," Economic Times quoted Mayank Pareek, Chief Operating Officer for Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India.
Earlier this week, Renault and Nissan also announced discounts and freebies. Renault has slashed the ex-showroom price of its fast moving Duster in the country and the entry level Duster RxE diesel is now priced at ₹8.18 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). In addition to this, the company is also offering 2+2 years or 80,000 km extended warranty.
Nissan announced a discount of upto ₹38,000 on purchase of its new Datsun Go hatchback in India. The offer includes an exchange benefit of up to ₹20,000, insurance worth ₹4,000 and free extended warranty of ₹4,000. In addition to this, there is also an additional discount of ₹10,000 on D, D1 and A variants of the Go hatchback .
