2015 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift has finally come out of the shadows with the first spy shots of the models emerging on the web ahead of its possible launch in 2015.
The good chaps at GaadiWaadi have managed to capture the first glimpse of the Maruti Ertiga facelift, giving a clear picture of what to expect at the arrival of the model. It looks like with the facelift, Maruti Ertiga is hoping to take the competition to the next level.
The MUV segment is going to become even more competitive with the launch of the new Ertiga model and the upcoming Datsun Go+ MPV.
Typically, the changes in the mid-life facelift of any model are limited mostly to visual modifications. It looks like Ertiga too is likely to get changes in the front and rear profile.
In the spy shots, the new Ertiga is seen partially camouflaged and the front camouflage seems to be hiding a lot of details. Only minor changes and alterations are expected and may be a new front bumper with reworked headlamps and new alloy wheels too. Also expect to get a reworked rear bumper.
Inside the cabin, the Ertiga facelift is expected to get electrically adjustable and retractable Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs) and a new updated infotainment system.
As for the engines, the power is likely to come from the same 1.4 litre K-Series petrol engine and 1.3 litre diesel motors, may be with a minor tweak to deliver better fuel efficiency.
Rumours are also doing the rounds that the new Ertiga facelift could also get an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) version with safety lock & parking gear option. Further details are currently scarce; however, Ertiga is likely to get a price slightly higher than the existing models.
