Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car-maker is expected to roll out its new facelifted avatar of Ertiga in India in the coming months.
The auto-lovers in the country have already seen the Ertiga facelift in its different avatars through spy shots and now a new report of Auto Car India said the next Ertiga model will get SmartPlay system.
Maruti introduced SmartPlay system with its Ciaz in India and now according to the new report, the company planning to have this feature in its upcoming models including Ertiga. The SmartPlay system includes 7-inch TFT touchscreen display, integrated navigation with voice commands, voice recognition and USB, Aux and Bluetooth connectivity. Maruti is also expected to launch SX4 S-Cross, premium hatchback YRA and compact SUV YBA in India with the SmartPlay system.
Expected to make its market debut around May-June, Eritga facelift is likely to pack the same1.4-litre four-cylinder K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, Multijet, turbo-charged diesel engines. An earlier report had said that the new Ertiga will deliver an improved fuel efficiency of with an improved fuel efficiency of 25.2kmpl.
The expected features of Ertiga facelift include electrically adjustable and retractable Outside Rear-View Mirrors (ORVMs) and a new updated infotainment system and is expected to get a price tag in the range of ₹6 lakh-₹10 lakh.
