Almost every Avenger has his own stand-alone movie panned out for phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic universe, but the fate of one incredible Superhero remains unsure: Mark Ruffalo's Hulk.
Granted, there was "The Incredible Hulk", but Edward Norton who played Bruce Banner then, has passed on the role to "The Normal Heart" star who has only appeared as part of the "Avengers" ensemble.
Although a stand-alone film may not be in his trajectory any time soon, Hulk will definitely have a strong presence in Marvel's upcoming films.
His cameo in "Captain America: Civil War" is yet to be confirmed, but many theories suggest that he would be present.
Another probable for the giant green man is among the "Guardians of the Galaxy" and according to the comic books, it is in fact, a possibility. Some fans had even suggested that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" would be titled "Planet Hulk".
However, director James Gunn rubbished the rumours.
"There's not going to be a 'Planet Hulk' movie, there was never going to be a 'Planet Hulk' movie, there was never a plan for the Hulk to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy – I wouldn't want the Hulk to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy! And it's all a bunch of complete bullsh*t", he told The Playlist.
Regardless, Hulk-lovers are hoping to see a little green Goliath action in outer space in 2016. According to a very plausible theory, Hulk will appear in the "Civil War" movie and will get so out of control that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) will shoot him off to outer space.
Once there, he will meet with the whole gang, including Star Lord aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Groot (Vin Diesel), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Drax (Dave Bautista).
