Mariah Carey seems to be taking her split from boyfriend Bryan Tanaka in good spirits. But her friends believe the diva is on meltdown mode as she has been partying excessively since her breakup from the backup dancer.

On Tuesday, May 2, the 47-year-old was spotted leaving Catch restaurant in Los Angeles wearing a revealing black dress with chains, and she gave onlookers quite an eyeful while getting into a waiting car. Carey suffered a wardrobe malfunction and ended up flashing her nipples, but the diva seemed to have been oblivious to the fashion faux pas.
"Mariah is having a total midlife crisis," a source close to the songstress told Radar Online, adding that everyone around her is "worried sick!"
"After her latest breakup, she seems to just not care about anything anymore," said the source. "She is acting like she is in her 20's, and has been partying non-stop."
Meanwhile, a source told The Sun that Tanaka is determined to rekindle the romance, as he believes Carey still has feelings for him.
"Bryan is convinced Mariah is still in love with him, and the fact he believes she is having some sort of breakdown has only increased his determination to contact her," the source said.
"Bryan feels he was there for her when she was really down. He was Mariah's rock and doesn't get any credit for it. Deep down he knows Mariah said she was in love with him, which is why he is not prepared to give up on the relationship."
