Malayalam actress Manju Warrier has a handful of projects in her kitty for the year 2016. The versatile actress, who was last seen in Rojin Thomas' directorial venture "Jo and the Boy", will next be seen in Antony Sony Sebastian's untitled flick in the role of a postwoman.
The director confirmed the news to IBTimes India adding that more details on the flick will be revealed only after the project is officially announced. As of now, only the role of Manju has been revealed, and Jayasurya is also expected to play the role of an advocate in the movie.
Anthoy Sony was an associate of Rosshan Andrrews and has recently directed the short film "Moonamidam", starring Rachana Narayankutty and RJ Shaan. The 17-minute-20-second-long movie, with a socially relevant message, was produced by Jayasurya and it has managed to woo the critics for dealing with the issue of extra-marital affairs.
Meanwhile, Manju recently wrapped up the shooting of psychological thriller "Vettah", in which shed played the never-seen-before role of a police commissioner. The movie, directed by Rajesh Pillai, also stars Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sandhya, Vijayaraghavan, Prem Prakash, Deepak Parambol, Kottayam Nazeer, Dr Rony Baby Anikha and Baby Nandana.
Manju will also be part of director Deepu Karunakaran's upcoming movie "Karinkunnam Sixes", set in the backdrop of the central jail. In the movie, Manju will be seen playing the role of a volleyball coach, for which she is being trained by Indian volleyball player Harilal.
