UPDATE: 9.00 a.m. IST — The results of Manipur High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10 board examinations were announced at 5.30 p.m. on May 24, 2016.
According to the Indian Express, three Imphal girls — Sohana Laishram of Nirmalabas School, Naorem Suzanna of Nirmalabas School and Maibram Vasundhara of Little Flower School — bagged top positions.

The results of Manipur High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10 Board examinations will reportedly be announced around 3 p.m. on May 24.
Students who took the exams can check their marks on the official websites, manresults.nic.in or bsem.nic.in. They can enter their hall ticket number and then click on submit to view their results.
According to India Today, the results will be announced by the new secretariat of the Manipur government. The state Education Minister, M Okendro, and the Manipur Board Chairman, H. Deleep Singh, will preside over the result declaration ceremony.
The HSLC examination, which began on March 1 and ended on March 19, was conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.
