Upcoming adult comedy flick "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" has already created buzz with its posters and trailer. Touted as the first sex comedy of this year, the Mandana Karimi-starrer has run afoul of the censor board a few days before its release.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has recommended 150 cuts in the film so as to be granted an "A" certificate, Bollywood Hungama reported. Ekta Kapoor's flick was already facing trouble due to the "illegal" release of the film's trailer.
The Information & Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry has reportedly demanded an explanation from CBFC chairman Pahlaj Nihlani regarding vulgarity shown in the trailers of two flicks: "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" and "Mastizaade". It was reported that he sent an explanation saying the scenes being shown in the trailers are illegal.
On the other hand, the trailer and posters of "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" are getting good response from the audience, and the news of 150 cuts will be quite disappointing for them. The trailer of the film, starring "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Mandana Karimi, has crossed 10 million views on YouTube within two weeks.
However, audience will get to watch two back-to-back adult comedy flicks this month. "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" will release on 22 January, and it features Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Mandana in the lead.
Another sex comedy, "Mastizaade", starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar and Vir Das, and directed by Milap Zaveri, will hit the screens on 29 January. After "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3", it is the turn of "Mastizaade" to go through the censor board's examination.
