The last few weeks have been trying times for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho after their two losses to Brighton and Tottenham in the ongoing English Premier League. The Manchester United manager has received severe criticism from pundits and a small minority of Red Devil fans for walking out of the press conference after United's loss to Spurs.
However, on Sunday, Mourinho got his tactics spot on as United emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Burnley, in spite of playing the last 20 minutes with a man down. Marcus Rashford was given his marching orders after a clash of heads with Burnley right-back, Phil Bardsley.
Following the win, Mourinho walked over to the away end and applauded the raucous United fans, who cheered for their team throughout the match and sung Mourinho's name, much to the delight of the Portuguese manager.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager even gave his jacket to a young fan in the Manchester United away end. This gesture by Mourinho has surely won him back quite a lot of fans!

Jose Mourinho goes to the away end at Turf Moor and gives his jacket to one of the fans and walks through the front row straight into the tunnel.

On Friday, in a U-23 match featuring Manchester United, Mourinho was also seen posing with disabled fans at Old Trafford.
Mourinho had his run-ins with the media in the past few weeks and he seems to have had the last laugh in his war of words, saying, "some of you must be disappointed", alluding to United's hard-fought win against Burnley.
