The talked about David De Gea transfer saga is back just ahead of the January transfer window. David De Gea's move to Real Madrid from Manchester United has resurfaced again just three months after he signed a new four-year contract with the Red Devils.
A Real Madrid insider has confirmed the news to Starsport, with the Spanish giants reportedly interested in going for De Gea in the next summer transfer window.
"Real Madrid will not attempt to sign David De Gea in the January window. But the club is proposed to sign him in the summer for next season," a source close to the development said.
De Gea's new four-year deal reportedly includes a £36-million release clause. If Real Madrid would want the 25-year old to be at Santiago Bernabeu in the next season, then they will have to shell out the entire fee.
With United struggling in the ongoing season of the English Premier League, the hopes of lifting the title are nowhere near the horizon. The Red Devils have not managed to win one game in their last five encounters, losing three of them. Most recent of those defeats came at the hands of Stoke City on Boxing Day.
The axe looms large above Louis Van Gaal and reports in England claims that the Dutchman has 90 more minutes to prove his worth at the Old Trafford or else he will be removed.
Jose Mourinho is considered as the favourite to replace Van Gaal at the helm of the team affairs. If United lose against Chelsea on Monday at Old Trafford, the axe could come in, but if they win, things might remain the same.
