Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has taken a swipe at Chelsea saying that they are "not special at all," although he admits that he is a "big fan" of Jose Mourinho.
After failing to win a single piece of silverware in 2013-14, the Blues have been pretty impressive this season, having reached the finals of the Capital One, the round of sixteen of the Champions League.
Their Premier League form has also been pretty good as they are currently seven points clear at the top of the table, having only lost a total of two games – against Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur – this season.
Still Nasri despite earlier claiming that he is a "big fan of Mourinho," insists that he is not impressed with the West London club.
"I'm a big fan of Mourinho, but I am not impressed with his team, not at all. We have played them twice, one time with 10 men, and we were better than them," Nasri told Sky Sports. "Then we played them at the Bridge, we were better than them."
"When I have seen some of their games, I don't think they are that fantastic - they are just strong and have a good striker up front. For me they are not special at all"
Although Chelsea currently have a healthy gap between themselves and City, the 27-year-old is certain that the Blues will be making some "mistakes" in their remaining Premier League fixtures.
"I think they are going to make some mistakes. We just have to perform, to win our games, and see what's going to happen," he added. "This title will be like this until the end of the season. No one will win the league 10 games before the end of the season."
As City have twice come back from behind to secure the Premier League titles in 2011/12 and 2013/14, Nasri is confident that his side can do this for a third time.
"We know that the two times we won the league, we were behind at this time of the year," he added.
The Frenchman feels that his side just need to get as many points as possible from their remaining Premier League fixtures and wait for Chelsea to make mistakes like the one they nearly made against Everton.
"We will just try to get as many points as possible and wait for the mistake. They won in the last minute against Everton, so maybe next time they will draw. We just have to win our games and see what will happen."
