'Manamantha' is a family drama which has been released in Malayalam as 'Vismayam' and in Tamil as 'Namadhu.' Written by Chandrasekhar Yeleti, the movie narrates the story of four individuals -- a supermarket assistant manager, a prodigy computer student, a housewife and a convent school girl.
Mohanlal is a middle-class man who is struggling for promotion. Raina Rao is a school girl who helps poor and Viswant is an IT student who deviates from his studies for love. Gautami is a respectable middle-class single mom. All the four characters are not interconnected. How a single incident brings drastic changes and brings them together forms the crux of the story.
The audience say 'Manamantha' has a unique story and Chandrasekhar Yeleti has created a brilliant and gripping screenplay, which has enough twists and turns to keep the viewers engaged throughout the movie. The film is loaded with crime, suspense, humour and emotional sequences.
Mohanlal has made brilliant comeback to Tollywood and his performance is the highlight of "Manamantha." Gautami, Viswanth and Raina Rao have done good acting. Urvashi, Chandra Mohan, Brahmaji, Anisha Ambrose, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao and Vennela Kishore have played significant roles in the movie and their performances are assets of the movie, say the viewers.
Manamantha has been produced by Sai Korrapati under his banner Varahi Chalana Chitram and it has good production values. Mahesh Shankar's songs and background score and Rahul Shrivatsav's camera work are the attractions on the technical front, add the movie buffs.
