Korean drama The Man Who Lives in Our House will take up the slot previously occupied by Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, which aired its finale on October 18.
The new drama will focus on Hong Na-Ri, a flight attendant. She returns to hometown three years after her mother's death, and encounters a young man named Go Nan-Gil, who introduces himself to her as her father. Hong Na-Ri learns that her mother married Go Nan-Gil shortly before she died and he now lives at her mother's house and runs the small dumpling restaurant that her mother owned.
Soo Ae and Kim Young Kwang will play the leads in the drama, and the actress recently revealed that she hopes it would bring good ratings as it is following Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, which was an instant hit.
"I have good chemistry with Kim Young Kwang. He listens to me well and has a lot of aegyo so the filming is very fun," Soo Ae said during a press meet for The Man Who Lives in Our House. "I can't say that there is no pressure from the previous drama. All we can do is do our very best. I think if we have good chemistry among us, viewers will also like us."
Kim Young Kwang expressed nervousness about playing the lead role for the first time. "I felt pressure about playing a lead role for the first time on a main broadcasting channel, but when we started filming, the seniors and directors and staff all looked after me kindly and helped me perform well. I feel lucky."
The Man Who Lives in Our House will be aired on Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS2.
