South Korean drama The Man Who Lives in Our House will premiere on KBS2 on Monday, and it will occupy the time slot previously assigned to the successful Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, which telecast its finale on October 18.
Episode 1 of The Man Who Lives in Our House, also known as Sweet Stranger and Me, will focus on Hong Na Ri, the character essayed by Soo Ae, who decides to return to her roots after she gets cheated on by her longtime boyfriend.
Na Ri, a fight attendant, is deeply hurt by her boyfriend's unfaithfulness as she had hoped to marry him some day.
When Na Ri returns to her hometown, she meets Go Nan-gil [Kim Young-kwang], her deceased mother's husband who is three years her junior. The drama will revolve around their interaction and how they adjust to this new relationship.
Actress Soo Ae was recently asked about dating someone younger to her, and she said it would be an interesting experience. "It's a far cry from reality, but if I were to have a romance with a man three years my junior, I feel like that'd be a cool thing," See Ae said in the press meet to promote The Man Living in Our House, reported Allkpop.
She also talked about playing a flight attendant, saying: "My dream when I was young was to be a stewardess, and so it's an honor that I get to play one in the drama at least. I feel like it'd be fun for viewers to see the clumsy Hong Na Ri in real life and the Hong Na Ri who is a perfect stewardess."
The Man Who Lives in Our House is aired on Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS2. The episode can be watched online on viki.com.
