Man receives abuse after giving free hugs to Charlotte police
Ken Nwadike from the Free Hugs Project faced verbal abuse while extending the kind gesture to police on the second day of protests in Charlotte, North Carolina, following the shooting of Keith Scott on 20 September. The Free Hugs Project is “an initiative that spreads love, inspires change and raises awareness of social issues through motivational videos,†as described on Facebook.
