After young star Dulquer Salmaan inaugurated and spent the whole day at the new studio of CLUB FM 99.6 UAE in Dubai on its launch day on July 11, megastar Mammootty was the chief guest at the studio on Wednesday, July 13.
Mammootty, who is basking in the success of the latest cop thriller, "Kasaba", went on air shocking the listeners of the radio channel.
Much to the surprise of the audience, the actor interacted with a caller named Mansoor, mimicking the voice of a woman. In a video posted on the Facebook page of the FM channel, the megastar is also seen imitating actor Kottayam Pradeep's typical way of talking, seen in almost all his movies. Mammootty also advises the caller not to use mobile phone while driving and to obey the traffic rules.
The video showing the wittiest side of the megastar went viral on social media within minutes. It was viewed more than 25,000 times within one hour of posting on the social media and its live video was viewed more than 40,000 times at the time of reporting. The channel staff have also been sharing the live Facebook videos of Mammootty since Wednesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the megastar has been garnering tremendous response from his fans for portraying the role of CI Rajan Zacharia in Nithin Renji Panicker's debut directorial venture, "Kasaba," released on July 7. The action thriller is set to become one of the highest grossing movies of the megastar, who is also awaiting the release of the romantic entertainer, "White," which is expected to hit the screens on July 29. He also has Johny Antony's family entertainer, "Thoppil Joppan", and Akhil Paul's, "Megastar 393" among his upcoming projects.
