Bollwood actress Mallika Sherawat recently revealed that ace director Karan Johar is the 'perfect bachelor' for her, reported Press Trust of India.
Speaking at the launch of her reality show "The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika" Mallika said, "I think in Bollywood, Karan Johar is a perfect bachelor ...He is perfect for me. He is charming, successful and he has integrity."
The 36-year-old actress, generally known for her outrageous comments, has clearly made another one with the Johar statement.
When asked on the similar format of her show and 2009 reality show "Rakhi Ka Swayamvar"she refused to acknowledge the latter.
"I am lonely and looking for a companion. I am looking for love. I am like any other girl, who, beyond name, fame, money, wants a companion in life," said the actress.
"I have been shown as bold and glamorous girl. Through this show, people will get to see my emotional and sensitive side. I think the reach of TV today is limitless, while my reach is limited."
Mallika dramatically added that, "Draupadi, Sita... all chose their husbands through a swayamvara... opinions of women mattered. Somewhere down the line it all got lost as the society gradually turned more and more regressive. I want to bring back that age and choose my own companion. If Draupadi, Sita could, so can I,"
"The Bachelorette India- Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika" which will be aired 'Life Ok' channel from August will have 30 participants competing for Mallika's attention.
