Mallika Sherawat is back in news grabbing limelight after being held responsible for divorce of Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas and his wife Melanie Griffith.
Apparently, the "Murder" actress was romantically linked with Spanish actor and director Antonio Banderas, for few years, which is reportedly the reason why the 53-year-old actor is ending his 18 years of marriage with wife Melanie Griffith.
Sherawat met Banderas after which the two got close while partying on a lavish yacht in 2012 Cannes Film Festival. While they both danced close, a video was secretly captured by the "Hisss" actress' best friend and stylist Ivan Bitton. The video later got leaked; however, Bitton claims that he wasn't behind the leaked video.
"You could tell Antonio was hot for Mallika, and she was flattered, but she would NEVER get involved with a married man, it's totally not her thing," Bitton told to Radar Online in 2012 about the two in the yatch party.
Again on Wednesday, Bitton opened up stating that both Sherawat and Banderas went for vacation soon after their dance encounter. "It was just the two of them. He took her without the wife knowing. He really made sure that this was a very discreet trip," the stylist added.
Reports have been going round that the B-town actress went for a romantic vacation with the actor as well.
While Sherawat is being held responsible for the alleged divorce of Banderas with wife, the dusky beauty who entered the Indian film industry with "Khwahish" in 2003, says not to pry into her personal life.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" the actress tweeted on Thursday, after the report.
"Antonio Banderas is a wonderful man, a great dancer and an acquaintance of mine. I did not go on any vacation with him, and I'm sorry he's going through a divorce" said The Myth babe, while talking to a leading Hollywood entertainment website.
She went on to say that Bitton was hired only for the international film festival. "Ivan Bitton is not my best friend. I hired him as a stylist at Cannes and then fired him," she said.
"I'm sure he released the video. I don't know what he's even talking about now. I haven't been in touch with Ivan since I fired him. Whatever he's saying about me is ridiculous," she added.
Sherawat's first visit to the Cannes was to promote her film with Jackie Chan, her co-star in the 2005 "The Myth". Later she also bagged two more films, Jennifer Lynch's "Hisss" and William Dear's "Politics of Love".
