The evening of Friday, December 14, was abuzz with news that Bollywood bomb Mallika Sherawat and her French boyfriend Cyrille Auxenfans were being kicked out of their Paris apartment.
A report in francetvinfo.fr said the couple owe approximately €80,000 in rent to their landlord, who has reportedly requested the seizure of furniture and a luxury watch. The arrangement was apparently opposed by the couple.
However, Mallika has rubbished the reports and said she does not have an apartment in Paris.
"Some in the media think I hv an apartment in Paris !! It's absolutely Not True , if someone has donated one to me, pls send me the address :), [sic]" Mallika Sherawat wrote on Twitter.

However, the couple's lawyer Master David Honorat was quoted in the report as saying that by not paying rent, they wanted to "show their annoyance" after Mallika and her boyfriend were tear-gassed and beaten up by three masked intruders outside her Paris apartment last year in November.
The 350-sq-m apartment in question is reportedly located in the French capital's wealthy 16th Arrondissement. In the report, the landlord's lawyer Olivier Mayrand was quoted as saying that as of November 14, 2017, the couple owed his client €78,786.73.
"Ms Sherawat would have been the best-paid actress in 2016. We are talking about €46 million of income and a fortune of €140 million. We are far from the tenant in difficulty," he added.
However, the couple's lawyer stated that they were facing temporary financial difficulties.
