Dileep Injured During "Villali Veeran" Shoot
Malayalam actor Dileep is reportedly injured during the shooting of his latest film "Villali Veeran" in Pondicherry. The actor was apparently hit by the door of an aeroplane and injured his nose, while shooting a scene of him getting down from the plane.
After consulting a doctor, the actor resumed the shooting, according to reports. "He was consulted immediately by the doctors. Though, the injury is not serious, he is advised rest for four days. But the actor continues the shooting after the injury", reported Manorama Online.
"Villali Veeran", set to release on 6 September has Namitha Pramod and Mythili in the lead and is directed by debutant Sudheesh Shankar.
Teaser of "Bhaiyya Bhaiyya" Released
The teaser of "Bhaiyya Bhaiyya" starring hit duo Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon is released. The film is directed by Johny Antony.
The animated teaser of "Bhaiyya Bhaiyya" shows how the lead characters met when they were kids. Their relation begins when one of them was brought from Bengal to Kerala by the other one's father, Contractor Chacko, played by Innocent. The narration mentions that this was the first Bengali migration to Kerala. Both the kids grow up together and became inseparable. The teaser gives an indication that the film tells the story of their relationship.
Both Kunchacko and Biju are seen as recruiters of Bengali workers in Kerala. The film also has Nisha Aggarwal, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vijaya Raghavan, Shammi Thilakan, Sudhir Karamana, Thesni Khan and Ambika Mohan in important roles.
"Bhaiyya Bhaiyya" will be released on 5 September. The film's music is composed by Vidyasagar and the lyrics are penned by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, Santhosh Varma and Murukan Kattakada.
The cinematography is handled by Vinod Illampally and the editing is done by Ranjan Abraham. The film is produced by Laisamma Joseph.
Mammootty to Play Lead in Siddique's "Rascals"
The latest news regarding superstar Mammootty is that he will play the lead role in ace director Siddique's next venture "Rascals". Though nothing much is revealed about the film, it is expected to be a family entertainer.
The new Mammootty and Siddique film has huge expectations as their earlier films "Hitler" (1986) and "Chronic Bachelor" (2003) were successful entertainers. The film is reportedly produced by Mammootty under the banner of Play House Release.
The shooting of "Rascals" is expected to kick start by December.
Meanwhile, Mammootty is currently shooting for Ranjith Shanker's "Varsham" and will later proceed with Kamal's next venture.
