Nivin pauly's "Action Hero Biju" and Mammootty's "Puthiya Niyamam" are the top movies at the U.S. box office in the fourth week of February. The total weekend collection of four Malayalam movies — "Action Hero Biju," "Puthiya Niyamam," "Adi Kapyare Kootamani" and "Paavada" — in the U.S. is $30,561.
The Abrid Shine directorial, which narrates the day-to-day incidents of a Janamaithri Police Station in Kerala, opened to mixed responses in the initial days, but began doing good business in the next days due to positive word of mouth. The movie was released Feb. 5 in the U.S. and collected $10,635 from two screens on the opening weekend. However, the movie's collection increased after it was screened in more number of screens in its fourth weekend at the US box office. From 16 screens, the movie grossed $19,212 taking a total gross amount of $95,260 [Rs 65.21 lakh] after four weeks of its theatrical run in the U.S., according to Bollywood Hungama.

Mammootty and Nayantara-starrer "Puthiya Niyamam" also saw good response, but the movie's screen count was reduced from 45 to 13 in the second weekend and it collected a gross amount of $7,686 over that time. The total gross collection of the AK Sajan directorial is now $20,933 [Rs 14.33 lakh] after two weeks of theatrical run.

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Anoop Menon's comedy entertainer "Paavada" is still running successfully in the U.S. even after five weeks of its release, raking in $50,826 [Rs 34.8 lakh] gross. The G Marthandan directorial has become the fourth consecutive blockbuster of Prithviraj after "Ennu Ninte Moideen," "Amar Akbar Anthony," and "Anarkali."
