The team of upcoming Malayalam movie Godha is on a promotion spree, and actor Tovino Thomas and director Basil Joseph are leaving no stone unturned. The movie is based on wrestling, and the team has now come up with a unique campaign '#malarthiyadichallenge' that challenges celebrities to 'smackdown' other celebs.

After being challenged by RJ Maahin, Tovino has toppled a radio jockey, and in the video, he is seen challenging actors Aju Varghese and Wamiqa Gabbi to accept the dare. The video of Tovino's #malarthiyadichallenge has gone viral on social media, and the two-minute footage was viewed over 30,000 times within 30 minutes of being shared on the Facebook page of the young actor.

Godha, helmed by Basil Joseph of Kunjiramayanam-fame, is one of the most anticipated movies in Malayalam, and the massive makeover of Tovino has become the talk of the tinsel town after the actor's look in the movie was released. The teaser, trailer and songs of the sports movie have also raised the expectations of the audience, who believe it to be the Dangal of Mollywood.
Godha stars Punjabi actress Wamiqa, who also appears as a wrestler in the movie, which also has Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Parvathy T, Bijukuttan, Kottayam Pradeep, Hareesh Perumanna and Dharmajan Bolgatty in pivotal roles. The movie, which was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres on May 12, has been postponed due to the Baahubali 2 wave all over India.
