The Hindi version of Rajamouli's Telugu blockbuster "Eega" has already garnered much praise from the Bollywood fraternity ahead of it's release on Friday.
"Eega", re-christened as "Makkhi" for Hindi audiences, had a special screening for select Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan.
After watching the film, Shah Rukh heaped praise on Rajamouli for creating an original film like "Makkhi" and said that it's a must-watch movie for children.
"Makkhi (eega) the fly. Awesomely original & fun film by Rajamouli releasing on 12th oct. must watch with kids.all the best raja&team," the actor tweeted.
In return, Rajamouli tweeted, "Thank you @iamsrk the king khan. Offering your help for a complete stranger like me and tweeting about #makkhi shows ur greatness. honoured!"
"Makkhi" tells a tale of a housefly, which seeks vengeance for its death from its past life. The protagonist, who gets killed by the villain, re-incarnate as a housefly and hunts down his murderer.
Rajamouli has made well use of computer graphics in the film which turned out to be a blockbuster down south. Both Telugu and Tamil versions fared well at domestic box office window.
The film's star cast boasts Sudeep, Nani, Samantha in the lead roles.
Kannada actor Sudeep, who essayed a negative role for the first time, drew much appreciation for his performance in the film.
Rajamouli is already a known personality in B-town, though he is yet make his official directorial debut. Most of his hit movies have been remade in Hindi, including one of this year's top-grossing film "Rowdy Rathore".
Ajay Devgan's upcoming move "Son of Sardar" is also a remake of Rajamouli's "Maryada Ramanna."
