Salman Khan's last two movies -- "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Sultan" -- received overwhelming response from the audience, and that apparently has put a lot of pressure on the makers of "Kick 2."
Sajid Nadiadwala, who is currently working on the script of "Kick 2," said that it will be a tough job for him to match the level of movies like "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Sultan."
"I have started writing 'Kick 2.' It will go on floors only when I am satisfied with the script. The Kind of films Salman Khan is doing these days, it would be a task for me to compete with them. Have a look at the kind of appreciation 'Sultan' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' got," Sajid told Catch News.
Sajid marked his directorial debut with "Kick" that had become one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. The film-maker said that Salman's fans have huge expectations from the sequel and he will deliver something above the expectations in the form of "Kick 2."
"There is a lot of expectation from 'Kick 2' and more than that, Salman and I have almost 100 percent track record at the box office. As a director, I was a bit apprehensive about 'Kick' but when it scored well at the box office, I feel it is my duty to deliver above the audience expectation. They accepted me as a big debut director and now it is my duty to write something that is very brilliant," Sajid said.
Amid rife speculations regarding the complete cast of "Kick 2." While Jacqueline Fernandez had played the female lead in the original film, the sequel will apparently have a different actress. There were rumours that Amy Jackson will be seen opposite Salman in "Kick 2", but there is no confirmation on that yet.
