Tollywood actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who was recently caught in a prostitution racket, may soon bag a role in a Bollywood film.
Film-maker Hansal Mehta intends to cast Prasad in his upcoming film in an effort to lend his support to the National Award winner, who is currently going through a rough phase.
I intend to offer Shweta Prasad a role in my next film. She was so good in Makdee.

Mehta, who won the 2013 Best Director National Award for "Shahid" (2013), even urged the authorities to expose the wealthy clients and the pimp involved in the racket other than targeting the popularity of the actress.
"Stop posting pictures of Shweta. Put out the pictures of her wealthy clients and the pimp. Expose the sc****gs, not the soft target," he added.
Prasad, 23, was caught red-handed in Hyderabad on 31 August after she was found involved in a sex trade. Later, the actress admitted to the police that she took up prostitution because she was running out of money as there weren't any film offers.
The actress is currently lodged in a state-run rescue home, where she will be apparently staying for the next three months.
The talented actress rose to fame after she made her debut as a child actress in the popular TV serial "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki". She even acted in Bollywood films like "Iqbal"(2005), "Makdee" (2002) among others. She bagged the National Award for best child artist for her performance in "Makdee".
Later, she was also seen as a lead actress in a few low budget South Indian films.
While most of the Twitter users have been judging Prasad's unfair statement of taking up sex trade due to lack of money, there are a few others, who came out to support her.
Actors like Upen Patel and Aditi Rao Hydari came forward to speak up for Prasad.
A girl is in the news and in prison for prostitution, why not her high profile clients? We are so damn sexist... #Pathetic #FullOfMCP'S — Aditi Rao Hydari (@aditiraohydari) September 5, 2014
"Breaks my heart about Shweta Prasad. Remember meeting her when she was a little girl in Iqbal .. Great actress..I'm know she will bounce bck (sic)." tweeted Patel.
